Fields & Co. was brought in by founders Fred Glass, former Athletic Director of Indiana University, and Pete Yonkman, CEO of Cook Group, to develop the core messaging platform and brand for Hoosiers For Good, position the charitable collective as a national model for NIL, and to launch the organization on a national stage.
Throughout its first year, Fields & Co. led all marketing and communications efforts, including campaign strategy and execution, public relations, website development and launch, social media planning and strategy, event planning, in-game and digital advertising, and more.
Fields & Co. developed the tagline and key messages for Hoosiers For Good ahead of its launch to attract charity partners and athletes, gain supporters, and demonstrate what it means to do NIL the Hoosier way. The brand voice was carried through to all content deliverables to follow.
Working with a freelance videographer/photographer and graphic designer, we announced a Summer 2022 IU basketball athlete class—including social media engagement and listening, media outreach, digital content, and more.
Fields & Co. developed and managed a creative campaign to partner 114 Indiana University Football athletes with nonprofit Stop the Violence Indianapolis for a first-of-its-kind charitable NIL effort that challenged young people to team up for peace and put an end to gun violence.
Fields & Co. worked with IU Football athletes and a team of freelance creatives to share messages about positive alternatives to gun violence on their personal social media accounts. The players reached a combined 500,000+ followers on Instagram and Twitter.
"Fields & Co. played a vital role in getting our brand off the ground in an entirely uncharted NIL environment and established us as the national model within our first year. We are stronger for having worked with them and will always treat them like part of the team."
